In the time Mikker has been with us he has proved to us that he is an exceptional stallion & that he has a fantastic temperament, his schooling is coming along nicely and not hurried as we wish him to excel in more than one equine discipline, however his showjumping is amazing.
Mikker has a real genuine character and is a fun loving and playful stallion, he can be seen playing with his toys in the field or swinging brooms in the yard, he is a very happy, and cheerful stallion to be around.
He has a wonderful temperament when handleing him on the ground or around mares and never becomes aggressive.
On the 19th of September 2007 Mikker was approved by ECHA with the second highest marks of the day, awarded Premium Stallion Status and beat all the warmbloods judged that day. His jump was judged with an incredibly high *9.5*
Mikker was imported as a 2 year old with his loud leopard spotted full brother, who was a yearling (now being produced as a dressage horse)
As the name fewspots suggests, Mikker has few spots on him, this means he is homozygous and will guarantee you a spotted foal, you could get a minimal or maximum markings, but you will have some sort of spots.
In some cases it may take up to 3yrs for these to develop (although all his foals so far have been born with visible markings)
Mikker WILL NOT reproduce the pink skin and blue eyes on solid coloured mares, this characteristic is only found in double dilute horses and ponies and is the result of the double copy of the spotted gene.
